Custom Painted Ponies

We are happy to announce a new product line from a local artist!

Gale Lambert is a native Texan who has been painting for over 30 years. Her media is primarily acrylics and oils, however she has also worked in stained glass for many years.  She studied floral design and worked in that field for 10 years but her first love has always been the art world.

She studied art locally at a studio, where she taught children's acrylic classes as well as private adult lessons. She has  also served as juror for many art competitions as well as winning many awards herself.  She has shown her work at the state capital in Austin, Texas winning a blue ribbon for 1st place as well as displaying her work at state representive’s offices.

Gale's paintings are always a new challenge to her, her innermost thought is to guide everyone's eye to see the beauty in all that she sees.

Her paintings embody many subjects from Eagles flying high in the sky to African animals with their young to the incredible expression in the eyes of a young girl.

It has been a new experience as well as a challenge in her career to work on the painted ponies, trying to create new and exciting subjects of interest to enhance their backs.  Always exciting to see her next idea on a pony.

Jigsaw Jockey
It was much easier to paint a jigsaw puzzle than to work a jigsaw puzzle. To make it real work for the puzzle enthusiast, I designed it with dots. And to add to their confusion I had one piece left over.
Jokers are Wild
Vegas or not, just an idea for the avid card player, using pastel and jewel tone iridescent colors really soften the design. A fun piece for me to paint. Place your bets…
New York State of Mind
Start spreading the news, New York is one of the most famous and exciting cities in America. The first vision that comes into "my minds eye" is the lady of liberty and the dramatic New York skyline at night.  This is America to me.
Oops a Daisy                   Being a floral designer as well as an artist I find florals a refreshing subject to display on the painted ponies.  You can almost smell the fragrance.

Underwater Circus           In over 30 years of painting one of my favorite things to paint have been underwater scenes, the cool turquoise blue takes you to relaxed places and the movement of the fish is magical.  Clowns and Lions in an underwater circus, you almost feel like a child again.

One Sweet Ride                Growing up in the 60's, I had the opportunity to witness the fab four perform for the first time in America.  They had a tremendous influence on many lives including mine. I thought as an artist, it would be of great value to honor them in caricature form as young men growing into older gentlemen.  The journey they afforded the world was truly one sweet ride.

Honey Hustle                       As an artist, I like to look at a painting as a challenge.  This design certainly fit the bill.  Always looking for new ideas, I thought of the painted ponies, this one seemed to be perfect.  Delicately conducting business as usual, transparent wings flutter to make life a little sweeter.

Primate Peek-a-Boo              Primates and jungle animals have been an exciting subject I've enjoyed over the years.  I love the expressions you can capture on canvas.  Deep in the jungle hidden by banana leaves, baby Chimpanzees play and peek at this curious world.
